Have these four things ready
- Year, make and model. This decides the glass part and whether your vehicle has a camera that needs recalibrating afterwards.
- Which glass. Windshield, a side window, or the rear. They are different jobs — windshields are laminated and bonded structurally, side and rear glass is usually tempered.
- How big, and where. Smaller than a quarter and out of the driver's sight line is often a repair. In your view or reaching the edge is a replacement.
- Which state the car is registered in. Missouri registration means the state inspection question applies. Kansas registration means it does not.
A photo beats a description. Damage is hard to describe and easy to photograph. Put a coin next to it for scale and we can usually tell you repair-or-replace on the spot.

What do you need from me to quote it?
Year, make and model, which glass is damaged, and roughly how big the damage is. A photo helps more than a description. With those four things we can usually price the job on the phone without seeing the car first.
Do you charge for a quote?
No. And if the damage is repairable rather than replaceable we will say so, even though the repair is the smaller job. A repair keeps your factory seal, which is worth more than the difference in our invoice.
