Kansas City is split across a state border, and vehicle inspection law differs on each side. Missouri runs a Motor Vehicle Inspection program through the Missouri State Highway Patrol, and windshield condition is part of it. Kansas requires no periodic safety inspection for private passenger vehicles.
The rule follows your vehicle's registration, not your commute. A Kansas-registered car driven into Missouri every day is still under Kansas rules.

Outside these five? We cover the wider metro — Liberty, Blue Springs, Shawnee, Lenexa, Gladstone. Call and ask. If the drive doesn't make sense we'll tell you rather than pad the schedule.
Call (913) 395-2979Why we don't list every suburb
Because it would be padding. A page that swaps the city name and changes nothing else tells you nothing about your car, your state's rules, or the roads that chipped your glass. These five exist because we can say something specific and sourced about each one. When that stops being true, the page doesn't get written.
